No one shall be permitted to play on any court unless wearing flat rubber shoes or boots without heels of any description. No form of spikes, screw, nail, rib or track shoe shall be worn on the courts.
CLOTHING
Appropriate tennis clothing shall be worn on court during the playing season. Members are requested to wear their current shoe tag for identification of members.
CLUB & NON CLUB PLAYING PERIODS
'General play' is play on courts not allocated for a particular purpose. Under these circumstances: * If there are members waiting to play on an occupied court, those on court may complete one short set (first to six games) and then must vacate the court. * Members are requested to allow those playing Club Tournament matches to finish them.
JUNIORS
Juniors members under 14 should be accompanied by an adult. Senior members take precedence over junior members in the use of courts. However, Senior members are requested to give precedence to juniors at these times: Friday evenings from 4.30pm and Saturday mornings until 1pm.
VISITORS
Visitors are charged £6 per day. If no committee member is present the fee must be sent to the membership secretary. The number of guests introduced by a member shall not exceed three at any one time. No guest may play more than three times in a season.
COURTS
The artificial grass courts require regular brushing on order that a good playing surface can be maintained. Members are requested to brush the courts prior to club playing periods (Wednesday evening, Saturday & Sunday afternoons) and also prior to match practice on a Tuesday evening and all league matches.
The last member to leave the Club shall see that the tension on all nets is relaxed and that the court gates and club house door are locked. Please also leave the kitchen area clean and tidy.
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP
All CLTC members are permitted to use the bar facilities at the LAfitness but must change from tennis gear first.
